ADT (Art, Design and Technology) encompasses the development of an appreciation, as well as the practical skills associated with both the fine arts and design technology.  Lessons provide the opportunity for pupils to push the boundaries of their own creativity whilst being taught traditional skills and techniques. The syllabus in the senior years includes an examination of the social and historical significance of particular art movements through the ages. 

The curriculum is enhanced by visits to a range of London's world renowned galleries and museums. 

Although ADT is examined within the school setting, it does not form part of either the 11+ or Common Entrance. Pupils who achieve a particularly high standard are encouraged to apply for scholarships at 11+ for girls and 13+ for boys. In addition, recommended pupils may be entered for the Arts component of the annual Hendon Prep scholarship.
